Competitions!

With only two and a half weeks left of the Spring term, we have brought some very exciting competitions forward due to such a high request for these to be sooner rather than later! Many students are playing Chess around school, at lunchtimes, digitally in their computer science lessons and challenging teachers to games at break and lunch as well. Our very own chess competition will now be over the next two weeks within students computer science lessons with Mr Hayre!

We are also going into our second week of the badminton competition which is happening within students PE lessons, and I am sure our very our Mr Holwell - Badminton Pro - will be popping along to give some support and encouragment. On another note, PI Day is fast approaching us on March 14th, to see how many digits of PI our students can remember, best of luck to our amazing mathmaticians with that!

Last week we had our first Textiles competition with our winners being Jessica Cox - 7 Aqua, Mujtaba Nadeem - 8 Silva and Phoenix Polley in 9 Ventus! Congratulations on creating and designing some amazing costumes! All the form classes are competing against eachother to gain as many points as they can before the end of the year where the winner will be annouced! Best of luck!
